NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home: This course qualifies you to apply for your Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit in your county of residence and includes a certificate of completion for inclusion in your application packet. This course includes topics such as mindset including situational awareness, tactics, skills development, holsters and carry positions, and discussions about the use of deadly force. Live range shooting is included and required to complete this course and is scheduled on an individual basis. Have a group interested? Special, private class times can be arranged.

Time for a field trip! Cowboy Action Shooting involves single action revolvers, lever action rifles and side-by-side shotguns, which are the firearms prevalent during the height of the Wild West! We will be sampling these firearms have the option of competing that day if you would like. The course of fire will include shooting at steel targets using all of these firearms. If you would like to just try out the guns, we will have an opportunity after the matches. Period dress if encouraged, but not required. Be creative and think of a sassy, western-themed name for yourself! Spouses and significant others are always welcome on our Field Trips! They will be responsible for their own fees, however.
What to Bring: Firearm in a case, ammunition or money to purchase ammo at the range, eye and ear protection, a friend
