INTRODUCTORY SHOTGUN CLINICS
Interested in learning about shot gun shooting? This clinic is taught by Caesar Guerini Pro Staff shooter Mark Taylor – an Assistant National Shotgun Coach for USA Shooting and NRA Advanced International Shotgun Coach. This hands-on clinic is designed to introduce men and women who have no shooting experience with the shotgun disciplines (trap, skeet & sporting clays) with proper instruction in a classroom and range setting. The clinic is focused on learning rules and safety, practical handling and shooting skills and range procedures and etiquette.

The fee includes targets. Ammunition (50 rounds) and shotgun must be supplied by participant. Rental shotguns are available for $25.00. Eye and ear protection will be provided if the participant does not have their own.

Colorado Concealed Handgun Carry Permit: This course qualifies you to apply for your Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit with your county of residence and includes a certificate of completion for inclusion in your application packet. This course includes basic handgun familiarization and nomenclature, legal considerations for concealed carry, review of applicable Colorado Revised Statutes, discussions about the use of deadly force and the concealed handgun permit application process. The training includes a live fire session so the students can demonstrate safe firearms handling. Course is approximately 3 hours long depending on the length of the Q&A session at the end of the presentation.

Personal Defensive Pistol I: This course will help the new shooter get started and will cover topics such as firearms nomenclature and function, along with proper handgun grip and shooting stance, proper sight picture, sight alignment, front sight focus and trigger control. Carry methods and holsters will also be covered. We’ll discuss correct loading and unloading techniques and you’ll learn valuable Dry Practice skills that will allow you to practice on your own at home. We’ll also discuss cleaning and maintenance of your firearm. Please reserve your spot at least a week in advance so that we can send information on the class and necessary equipment list. Instructor will provide handguns if the student does not have one- this is a great way to find out which one is best before making a purchase.
