USCCA CCW Refresher Course: This course is taught by Verified Instructors and meets the new state requirements under the law C.R.S. 18-12-202.5. It qualifies you to renew your Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit in your county of residence. It includes a certificate of completion. Live range shooting is included and required to complete this course. The live fire course is designed for shooters of all experience levels – from novice to advanced shooters. The class requires students to demonstrate safety and competence with a handgun. It includes instruction on changes to federal and state laws pertaining to the lawful purchase, ownership, transportation, use, and possession of firearms, including instruction on extreme risk protection orders. USCCA Conceal Carry Fundamentals 8-Hour Initial Course: This course is taught by verified instructors and meets the new state requirements under the law C.R.S. 18-12-202.5. It qualifies you to apply for your Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit in your county of residence. It includes a certificate of completion for inclusion in your application packet. The class includes instruction on safe handling of firearms and ammunition, safe storage of firearms and child safety, and shooting fundamentals. This course discusses developing a personal and home protection plan, self-defense firearm basics, defensive shooting fundamentals, the legal use of force, violent encounters and their aftermath, gears and gadgets and basic to advanced skills.
