USCCA Conceal Carry Fundamentals: This course is taught by verified instructors and meets the new state requirements under the law C.R.S. 18-12-202.5. It qualifies you to apply for your Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit in your county of residence. It includes a certificate of completion for inclusion in your application packet. The class includes instruction on safe handling of firearms and ammunition, safe storage of firearms and child safety, and shooting fundamentals. This course discusses developing a personal and home protection plan, self-defense firearm basics, defensive shooting fundamentals, the legal use of force, violent encounters and their aftermath, gears and gadgets and basic to advanced skills. Live range shooting is part of the course and can be scheduled on an individual basis. Have a group interested? Special, private class times can be arranged.
