Summer Bowling Pin League will be a 10-week league on Thursdays from June 12th through August 21st starting at 5:30pm. Please email amypropernick@gmail.com for more information or to register. Cost is $20 per evening with $10 going to payouts for the top 3 shooters each night. There will be a series point system with a grand prize going to the shooter with the most points throughout the league.
We will be shooting steel plates that are shaped like bowling pins. The league is a 5 Pin Head-to-Head Event (Double Elimination Bracket). Each night will be a different course of fire. You will shoot center fire pistols, rim fire pistols, pistol caliber carbines, rim fire rifles and shotguns throughout the league. Guns are available to borrow, if needed. CCW Refresher Course: This course is taught by Verified Instructors and meets the new state requirements under the law C.R.S. 18-12-202.5. It qualifies you to renew your Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit in your county of residence. It includes a certificate of completion. Live range shooting is included and required to complete this course. Please note that students will be drawing from the holster. The course of fire is designed for those students that are comfortable with safe gun handling and shooting fundamentals. If you are not confident with your fundamentals we recommend scheduling an private lesson prior to the class or taking the USCCA CCW 2-Hour Refresher Course. The class requires students to demonstrate safety and competence with a handgun. It includes instruction on changes to federal and state laws pertaining to the lawful purchase, ownership, transportation, use, and possession of firearms, including instruction on extreme risk protection orders. It will educate you on state law pertaining to the use of deadly force for self-defense. Have a group interested? Special, private class times can be arranged.

USCCA Conceal Carry Fundamentals 8-Hour Initial Course: This course is taught by verified instructors and meets the new state requirements under the law C.R.S. 18-12-202.5. It qualifies you to apply for your Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit in your county of residence. It includes a certificate of completion for inclusion in your application packet. The class includes instruction on safe handling of firearms and ammunition, safe storage of firearms and child safety, and shooting fundamentals. This course discusses developing a personal and home protection plan, self-defense firearm basics, defensive shooting fundamentals, the legal use of force, violent encounters and their aftermath, gears and gadgets and basic to advanced skills. Live range shooting is part of the course and can be scheduled on an individual basis. Have a group interested? Special, private class times can be arranged.
